The Boston Society of Architects recently named the newly built Harry Parker Boathouse the “most beautiful” new building in the city. Community Rowing, Inc. is a growing nonprofit organization that promotes fitness and the benefits of rowing for all ages. Used extensively by corporations for team building activities, the venue has two spaces available for rent; the 3,040 sq. ft. Alte Archter Room which is located on the second floor and has balconies and windows with great water views, and the River Side Glass Pavilion which is adjacent to the boathouse and features all glass walls with spectacular Charles River views. The Alte Archter Room is fully equipped with a brand new state of the art sound system, professional mixer, wireless microphone, projector and drop down screen for presentations and music. The maximum capacity for rentals is 180 persons for a sit down dinner with dance floor and 220 for a cocktail reception.

Community Boating is a unique place for a party, clambake, corporate event or wedding reception. It is an informal setting with spectacular views of Boston and the Charles River. Both inside and outside locations are available for rental. The most sought after location is the outdoor dock, looking out onto the Charles River, and they also have the Wolfson Room on the second floor which has water views and can accommodate 150 people. Oak Park is a section of the dock located under the canopy of a large oak tree which is approximately 65’ X 25’ and can accommodate up to 125 people. You may bring your own caterer, and liquor may be served with appropriate permits and a security detail. Skippered sailboat rentals are also available. Community Boating's program, established over 60 years ago, is recognized as the largest and oldest public sailing program in the United States.
